About NODEHAUS:

NODEHAUS is a a production company and impact studio producing the media it takes to have an impact on the world around us. We make everything from documentaries to social content, podcasts to explainers, animations, films and beyond.

About our Internship program:

Our intern program is a professional development process for early-career filmmakers, heavily focused on post-production and our team-centered workflow. We take in interns on a rolling-basis, offering the opportunity only for applicants who impress us enough. Because of that, we also build the internship program around the unique needs and career goals of the interns themselves.

We do not do remote internships. It’s just too hard to make those as valuable as they should be.

What we're looking for in interns, in order of importance:

- Desire to learn filmmaking comprehensively, including development, pre-production, production, and especially post-production.

- A deep personal drive to achieve and learn. The kind of mindset that says, "If no one hires me, then I'll start my own work, my own projects, my own company."

- An eye for great visual design, aesthetics, media

- An understanding of and interest in economics, business, law and philosophy (a large part of our work relates to this field)

Skillsets, in order of importance:

- Experience in Adobe Premiere and After Effects. Additionally, Photoshop experience is preferred.

- Well-versed in Google Drive tools and very organized. Regularly creates spreadsheets and documents 

- Knowledgeable around computers, particularly Windows PCs.

You must have an Adobe Creative Cloud account for Premiere and After Effects and your own computer/laptop. We can make an edit machine available for you here at the office, but you still need your personal computer for remote work sessions.

Compensation:

- Reimbursed commutes. This can take the form of a gas stipend, or reimbursed transit costs on The Rapid.

- Reimbursed Adobe Creative Cloud for the duration of the internship.
